Originally from Kodiak Island (located on the southern coast of Alaska) Miss Olivia has lived and worked in Washington state since 2007. Her background includes working as a preschool teacher at Gateway Christian School in Poulsbo, followed by a steady involvement in Vacation Bible School and various reading programs over the years. Busy as most mothers are, Miss Olivia enjoys spending her evenings and weekends attending the various sporting events which her children are participating in.
Devoted wife and mother of four, Miss Peggie brings an incredible amount of passion and experience to Level Up preschool. Her background in education stems from her experience at Arizona State University where she majored in nursing, human anatomy, and early childhood education. From there, she worked as a lead teacher and Assistant Director at a locally owned pre-kindergarten school in Maricopa, AZ. She then went on to develop her own curriculum and ultimately opened her own in-home preschool located in Maricopa. Miss Peggie is undeniably passionate about helping youngsters develop their skills and preparing them for a vibrant educational future.
I was born and raised in Tri-Cities, WA. I graduated in 2014 from Kamiakin High School and attended Tri-Tech Skills Center where I obtained my certificate in Early Childhood Education. While attending Tri-Tech I had the opportunity to do an internship at a local Elementary School where I was able to learn additional skills working with children in a Kindergarten setting. I have always had a passion for the learning and development of children. On my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, such as hiking and fishing, as well as spending time with my friends and family.
I recently moved to the Tri-Cities in January of 2019. Currently, I am attending WGU online to obtain my BA in Interdisciplinary Education. My dream has always been to teach little kids. I am 21 years old and already have 18 nieces and nephews with whom I enjoy spending most of my time with. I am from a small, country town, so in my spare time I love being outside or active playing sports. I also love the gym and staying busy. I am excited to be part of the Level Up team!
